At the Town Council meeting of December 11, the Town’s newly elected officials were sworn into office. Congratulations to Barbara Thornton and Ford Greene, Town Councilmembers; Bess Niemcewicz, Town Treasurer; and Barbara Chambers, Town Clerk.

The Council thanked outgoing Mayor Wayne Cooper for his leadership during the Town’s Centennial year. In addition, outgoing Treasurer Roberta Robinson was thanked for her dedication and service to the town.

The newly-seated Council then voted unanimously to elect Ted Freeman the Town’s mayor for 2008. Peter Breen was elected to serve as Vice-Mayor. Congratulations Ted and Peter!
