LANSDALE PARK
A pocket sized park with a children's playground--just what the neighborhood needed! Parents can enjoy a coffee to go from the near by cafe while watching their children play in the out of doors. Located at the corner of Center Boulevard and Lansdale, this park gives the visitor the chance to experience a
little of San Anselmo's history. The railroad tracks leading from San Anselmo west were located along Center Boulevard. Today's visitors can still see the wide sidewalks on either side of Center that were formerly the loading platforms for the trains. Lansdale Station was a stop on the way to West Marin.

CREEK PARK
One of Downtown San Anselmo's best kept secrets is Creek Park. Located a stone's throw from one of the busiest intersections in Marin (formerly the "Hub" of railroad activity in the county), Creek Park is a quiet oasis in the middle of a bustling downtown. Enjoy it's grassy areas, benches and creek access while observing the local bird life and water creatures. It's central location makes it a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet take out treat from the many local eateries. Benches and picnic tables provided. Creek Park is also the site of many local events such as Music in Creek Park and Film Nights----both parts of the San Anselmo Summer Festival. The recreation department also sponsors a series of outdoor performances here. Thank you to local architect Dan Goltz for creating this beautiful downtown spot. For more information about Creek Park events, check the Calendar section of this site or call 454-6018 for more information.

The park is located at Veterans Place, a right turn off of San Francisco Boulevard, with parking available.
Memorial Park is adjacent to the San Anselmo Recreation Department, the hub of children's activities in town. Sports events happen year round at Memorial's playing fields, providing park visitors with an ongoing show. ROBSON-HARRINGTON PARK
Not many towns can claim a turn of the century mansion among their park experiences. Rosbson-Harrington House has extensive grounds to wander and picnic in as well as an unparalleled indoor facility for rent. The community gardens are another benefit of the Robson House. The brick wall that surrounds the estate were formed out of bricks from buildings toppled by the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco, just a sample of the history found here. Located only 2 blocks from the downtown area at 237 Crescent Road. Contact the Robson House Association at 453-1602 for more information about reserving this facility. To reserve the lower picnic area, please contact the Recreation Department at 258-4640.
SORICH RANCH PARK
Sorich Park gives the park visitor a chance to experience the natural beauty of the San Anselmo hills. Sorich Park is a relatively undeveloped park with limited picnic benches and tables. Hiking trails lead off in many directions and vary in degree of effort required. The wide open spaces and secluded location give visitors the chance to enjoy nature in a restful environment. The park is located at the end of San Francisco Boulevard. The Sorich Ranch Park Master Plan was developed over the last 4 years by the community. With the help from a State of California matching grant, Phase One of the plan is being implemented with your help. Improvements such as new trails, new landscaping with native plants, eradication of non-native weeds, and a new parking lot are under way. Sorich work parties are generally held the third Saturday of each month. Every hour
worked is matched dollar for dollar by the State Grant, so you can really get your money's worth. These work parties are aimed at enhancing the quality of Sorich Ranch Park. Bring gloves, hat and water and meet new friends while learning about our native habitat. For further information, contact the San Anselmo Streets and Parks Department at 258-4601.
FAUDE PARK
This park is best enjoyed by those who want to enjoy San Anselmo in its natural state. This 13.5 acre rock outcropping offers hiking and picnicking in a relatively untouched natural setting. Faude offers the visitor the chance to experience the quiet and tranquility of the San Anselmo hills, wooded areas, and a meadow with a panoramic view of the Ross Valley. Fire roads offer extensive hiking opportunities as well as trails leading from the area. Located at the top of Broadmoor Avenue between Indian Rock Road and Tomahawk Drive. This park has no developed facilities so plan to bring what you need with you.
